Introduction

Dr Gautam graduated in dental surgery from Dr R Ahmed Dental college ,the first dental college of the country. He then pursued higher surgical training in the speciality of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in the UK at world renowned institutes for tertiary care like the Morriston hospital at Swansea in Wales and the Queen Victoria hospital , East Grinstead in England. He then worked as a registrar and locum Consultant at the mid western regional hospital at Limerick in Ireland. During this time he acquired three fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons in England as well as Ireland.                                                 Presently practicing in Hyderabad at Avis hospital and providing service in all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery like facial trauma repair, orbital trauma repair, facial deformity correction , head and neck pathology , orthognathic surgery, obstructive sleep apnoea and dental rehabilitation with implants.  

Dr Gautam is also associated with the LV Prasad Eye institute ,Shroff Eye Institute( Delhi) working closely on orbital trauma and reconstruction and also associated with the ENT team at AIG hospital ,Hyderabad in the management of obstructive sleep apnoea.

At Avis hospital we have an integrated team of surgeons including plastic surgeons ,ENT surgeons, Neurosurgeons, oculoplastic surgeons, Head and neck Surgeons and Interventional radiologists who work in collaboration with the Maxillofacial team and have provided the best outcomes to patients over the years from far and wide. At Avis Hospital we also run a foundation called ‘’Hope,Head and Neck foundation” where we perform such surgeries for the underpriviledged at very subsidised costs .
